"You don't need to be the fittest, fastest person on the planet. In order to achieve you need to put in a bit of training, race at your own pace and have an 'I will not fail' attitude!"
- Melanie Evison, Race to the Tower 2019 participant
"My first ultra, the whole thing from start to finish was phenomenal, what really stood out was how lovely the support staff were, cheering us on and their words of encouragement were so lovely! The little touches like positive messages on the blackboards at pit stops & the variety and amount of snacks was 2nd to none! Loved it! The threshold team are awesome!!! 11/10!!"

"The best organised and staffed event I've ever run in. The volunteers and facilities were amazing and all the people I encountered in the Cotswolds way whether walking, running, on horseback were all so encouraging. Thanks to everyone involved for putting Race to the Tower on, it was a great experience. "
- Michael Elsey, Race to the Tower 2019 participant
"Absolutely wonderful event! All of the crew and staff from registration on the bus, pit crew, to base camp staff and the chaps that sent you off were incredible. The pit stop were so well stocked and thought out that you really didn’t need to bring anything except your water bottle and a cup. Base camp was run so well it made it all so easy to attempt my first ultra distance the next day. Everything was thought of, even the shuttle to get you back to the car! I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be back to do another Threshold Trail race!"
- Dominique C, Race to the King 2021 participant
"My first ultra event, so was naturally A little nervous about the whole process and then to actually complete the challenge. From booking all info was clear on website, forums and emails. The event its self was amazing, easy drop off point at start, pit stops stocked with everything you'll need, plenty of clean portaloos. The event staff cheer you on at every point you pass them and are all really helpful, even at pit stop 7 at midnight! My feet are a mess but it hasn't put me off wanting to book for another threshold ultra!"
- Charlotte H, Race to the Stones 2021 participant
