Run Talk Run is part of a growing movement that uses running and walking in nature as a tool to support mental wellbeing. Founded by Jess Robson and powered by Sport in Mind, the initiative was born from Jess’s own experience of how running became a consistent and powerful support for her mental health.
Aligned with the Threshold Trail Series ethos, Run Talk Run creates free, safe, and inclusive spaces where people can come together, move, and connect. Weekly peer-led 5k run and walk groups are delivered by a passionate community of volunteers, offering support and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.
With an ambition to reach as many people as possible, Run Talk Run continues to grow its community, breaking down barriers and making movement accessible to all, regardless of ability or experience.
Events like Race to the Stones and Race to the King perfectly complement this mission. The flexible and inclusive format provides an opportunity for individuals to challenge themselves in a supportive outdoor environment, encouraging connection, resilience, and shared achievement.
At Run Talk Run, the focus is not on pace or performance, but on participation, inclusion, and wellbeing. Everyone moves together, ensuring no one is left behind, reflecting a shared DNA with the Threshold Trail Series and its commitment to community, nature, and positive mental health.
